Question: What is your favorite tropical fruit?

Answer: “I believe I could live on mango. Everything about it is perfect, from the smooth texture, to the sweet but tangy flesh, to the beautiful color.  I don’t even mind the juice dribbling down my chin.”

Question: Which one do you want to try the most?

Answer:”All of these products are outstanding and I would be thrilled with any one of them. My aching feet, however, crave the foot petals!  As so many FOF’s know, nothing goes right when your feet ache.  I’m often on my feet, have had major foot surgery and was born with flat feet and foot pronation.  For years, I’ve worn ballet flats, which were comfortable and attractive. Question: What’s your favorite memoir of all time?

Answer: “One of my favorite memoirs is The Liar’s Club by Mary Karr. I also liked The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. Both are memoirs of living with odd, dysfunctional, alcoholic parents. You feel so much for the children and their siblings. You also have sorrow and compassion for the parents who just couldn’t hold it together. They are sad but compelling stories.”

Question: How old were you when you got your first cell phone?

Answer: “Those look fabulous! I got my first cell phone over 20 years ago. It was about the size of a shoe! It lived in my car, just for emergencies and I didn’t even know the number so no one could call me. Some days, that sounds pretty good.”

Question: Do you own a set of pearls?

Answer: “I own several sets of pearls. I read either a book or an article in a magazine entitled, “Put on Your Pearls, Girls” and I embraced that. I like to have them in different cm’s, lengths and colors. I have one pair of “real” ones and some Majorcans which are fabricated from the sea. I think the idea of these is fabulous. I live in the tropics and want to feel (as well as be!) cool.”

Answer: “Like so many things in life, we’ve all been lied to–by others, by ourselves–and believed those lies. As women, we deserve better.
